Tours hosted by the KCHT
Your chance to go behind the scenes of one of the most historic County Cricket grounds in the world, with a tailor-made tour of the iconic buildings, stands and features that make up the St Lawrence Ground, Canterbury.
Dates for Ground Tours are currently being arranged. Once the schedule has been released you can buy Tour tickets via the Kent Cricket website.
In the meanwhile, you can register your interest for 2024 Ground Tours by emailing the KCHT via the link below.
Pre-season Individual customised tours can be arranged while groups can also be catered for. These would be more expensive, but we can go into greater depth and duration as the visitor(s) may choose.
----------
Tours begin at 13:00 on match days, and at 11:00 on non-match days, costing £10 for adults & £5 for under-16s. Each tour will last around 60 – 90 minutes.
For last season, Ground Tours were scheduled for the summer - lasting between 60- 90 minutes. Each tour was led by one of our expert guides – who introduced the various historic elements within the Ground … and hopefully answered all questions.
Matchday Tours - Tours that fall on matchdays are subject to availability and may differ from non-matchday tours.
N.B. An additional matchday ticket is required to gain access to the Ground.
2024 matchday tickets can be purchased via the Club website.
We will be taking groups of between 12 and 20 people on each tour - which takes in the whole Ground and its many landmarks. Stops will also be made to the Club Shop and Oriole at Lime Tree Café for refreshments.
We cannot arrange tours on T20 Blast days . Otherwise we can manage most dates during the summer. If you choose a date on which there is no game, we may well be allowed to show you the players' dressing rooms, which is an added attraction for those with a poor sense of smell!
