"The History of the Spitfire Ground"

Current KCHT Chair & former KCCC President Jonathan Rice delivered an online historical perspective of the Spitfire Ground: "The Story of the St Lawrence Cricket Ground." This famous county ground has hosted first-class cricket since 1847, and simply reeks of sporting heritage & local history.

SUMMER 2022:
CRICKET MEMORABILIA FAIRS & BOOK SALES

A series of Cricket Memorabilia Fairs (hosted by Uniquely Sporting) were held at the Spitfire Ground in the summer to benefit the KCHT.

A Second-hand Book sale also proved successful in September, again to the benefit of the Trust.

Future fairs / sales are planned for the 2023 season.

DEC 2022: The KCHT was honoured to host the BBC's Celebrity Antiques Road Trip in the summer at the Spitfire Ground. The show was broadcast on Dec 16th on BBC2 (available on iPlayer).
